We are SAE, a developer, owner and operator of sustainable energy projects. We are transitioning to become a major Independent Power Producer (IPP) with a project development arm specialising in Battery Energy Storage Systems and Tidal Stream generation.
Our business is aligned with the UK’s binding Net Zero targets to ensure we are working in harmony with the UK government’s national objectives.
We own significant assets at the Uskmouth Sustainable Energy Park in Wales and the best tidal stream site in the world at MeyGen in Scotland.
Our Team
The team has over 40 years of development, construction and operation experience and have worked on, delivered and operated some of the largest energy and construction projects around the world.
For SAE, the team delivered the development, construction and operation of the world leading tidal stream array at MeyGen, with 7 years of operation.
The Uskmouth team have themselves over 40 years of knowledge of the site, including the operation of the power station itself and then the development of the site for BESS.
